Erstwhile it was known as Starorama Industries India Limited followed The Group have been involved into trading and manufacturing of different type of products like Polyester Staple Fibre, Electronics, Mobile phones and Mobile Accessories, LED TV and others & had a strength of more than 2000 employees across the country. The group also had set up the very first Polyester Fiber Manufacturing Plant in 10 Acres in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) in year 2010.
We as Golden Tobie Private Limited have started association with Golden Tobacco Limited in August 2019. We got associated with Golden Tobacco Limited in the capacity of National Distributor for four brands & these four brands are Panama, Golden Gold Flake, Chancellor and Taj Chhap for perpetual period..
Lately in the month of February 2020 we have taken these brands on lease from Golden Tobacco Limited for lifelong and hence got the Manufacturing rights of these brands. We are coming up with new factory in Greater Noida with the manufacturing capacity of 200 million sticks per month which should be up & running in the month of June 2020.
We have launched our own brands such as Royal Magic, Gold Magic, Gold Touch, Blue Touch, Must Virginia as well and same are expected to expand by coming month in 2022. Currently the company has human resource strength of 250 but the same is targeted to be approx. 1500 by the end the current financial year.

The company's principal activity is to manufacture and market cigarettes and processed tobacco. The company later diversified into petrochemicals, additives, paper, marine products, etc. The company has world class manufacturing units, located at Mumbai in Maharashtra & Vadodara in Gujarat. Golden Tobacco Ltd was established in the year 1930 by Narsee Monjee.
The company was changed to a private concern in the year 1955 and went public in the year 1970. In the year 1972, the company established their full-fledged manufacturing unit at Vadodara in Gujarat. In the year 1979, the company was taken over by the Dalmia Industries & name of the company was changed from Golden Tobacco Company Ltd to GTC Industries Ltd with effect from August 20, 1985. In November 1985, the company started paper production in collaboration with Raigarh Paper Mills. In the year 1993, they commenced operations in their additives division. In July 2008, the company name was changed from GTC Industries Ltd to Golden Tobacco Ltd. Also, the company decided to de-merge Tobacco and Realty business in two separate companies.
